How to Replace the Speaker of iPad Air 2

1.Repairing the device by yourselves is likely to cause breakdown or data loss. So make sure that you backup your data before repairing. There are two ways to backup via iTunes. The first way is to connect your phone to PC. Open iTunes to pair your phone and start to backup. The another way is to make sure that your phone has connected to Wi-Fi. Open Settings-iCloud-Storage and start to backup. 
2.Relax and be patient. Put the screws and fittings in a container or in the flat object.
3.Power off your device.


4.Use hair dryer or blower gun to heat the edge of device evenly about 2 to 5 minutes. Heating lets tape become softer. The temperature of blower gun is 150 Celsius degree. 


5.Put the tool into the edge of screen. Do not be violent. Open a gap and gash along the gap slowly. Please be careful of the front-camera.


6.To avoid pasting again, you can insert some objects such as triangle slice or phone cards. The tapes will be cooler due to the long time. So you can heat again.


7.Be careful of the home button and the flat cables.


8.After gashing, open the screen lightly with the angle of 60 degree.


9.Use cross screwdriver to remove the screws on the shielding case.


10.Remove the shielding case.


11.Open the cables connector.


12.Seperate the screen carefully.


13.In the middle bezel assembly, remove these four screw.


14. Remove the tapes.


15.Open the flat cables button in an opposite direction. 


16.Pull out the flat cables.


17.Remove the tapes on the Speaker using spudger. Please keep the tapes because the accesories aren’t equipped with tapes.


18.Remove the Speaker slowly and carefully.


19.Stall the Speaker in the right position. 


20.Stall the screws. Please pay attention to the front and back of Speaker.


21.Stick the tapes. If you don’t have new tapes, use the old tapes.


22.Insert the cables in the cables button.


23.Peel away the tapes and stick these tapes on the cables.


24.Stick the tape on the new screen.


25.This picture is the position of tape.


26.Remove the remaining tape.


27.Take the screen and align at the edge of middle bezel.


28.Buckle down these three cables. If you do it correctly, you can hear slight sound. If not, try again.


29.Close the screen slowly.


30.Power off the device. Choose any desktop icon. Long press the icon and the icon will become shaking. Drag the icon and slide the icon to check it there is any problem of touching fuction.


31.After testing, tap the Settings-Touch ID and Password and then add fingerprint to check if the finger can be printed normally. If not, install the flat cables again.


32.Check the home button, display screen,music playing and other functions.


33.After checking, power off.


34.Remove these cables. 


35.Peel away the protective film of tape.


36.Before installing, you can smear the B-7000 glu on the edge of middle bezel. It helps stick firmly.


37.Buckle down the cables connector.


38.Install the shielding case in the right position.


39.Install these three screws.


40.When installing the first screw, don’t put it too tight. Because you can adjust the position of shielding case. 


41.Close it. You can also check the functions before closing. 


42.Finished.
